Facing cancer is hard. Having to travel out of town for treatment can make it even harder. Hope Lodge Nebraska will address this need by providing 24-hour, temporary housing free of charge to cancer patients and their caregiver, traveling 40 or more miles to receive treatment. It is estimated that over 9,000 cancer patients travel more than 40 miles to Omaha for their treatment each year. The estimated number of lodging nights provided annually is 10,500 with potential savings of over $1,300,000 for visiting cancer patients.
