A surgery gone wrong left a teenage girl unable to walk for 10 months, but she surprised her prom date by taking steps on her own ahead of the big dance. A video of the touching moment posted by Twitter user MoMoshows her standing in the foyer wearing her prom gown as her date arrives and then she blows him away by walking toward him.
We see her date take a few seconds to process what he just saw and then he steps back and he exclaims “No!” before running to her and hugging her. “How did you do that?” he asks before enveloping her in another huge hug.
“After not being able to walk with my own two legs for 10 months … I surprised my prom date with this,” MoMo captioned the video, which has been viewed over 12.3-million times.
