Dan + Shay are currently on tour in Australia opening up for Shawn Mendes. The guys surprised the Perth crowd with their first live performance of their Justin Bieber-assisted song “10,000 Hours” after it was released earlier this month.
The duo took to Instagram on Wednesday (October 23) to post a short clip performing the song while the crowd sung the lyrics back and it is absolutely deafening. “We performed #10kHours for the first time tonight, and it was absolutely insane. Perth, thank you for singing with us, you are LOVELY. ❤️” They captioned the video.
As you'll see in the clip, the duo hands singing duty over to the packed arena and they do a beautiful job of singing every single lyric — and you'll definitely get goosebumps watching. At the end of the video, you can see Shay pumping his fist while a huge smile spread across his face in joy of hearing the audience sing so loudly.
In the comments section, Dan admitted he got a little emotional watching the crowd: “I’m quite emotional watching this,” he wrote. Same here, Dan!
While the two are currently a supporting act, they do have a massive arena tour slated for 2020 and many of the dates are already sold out!
