This has been a LONG week... From the coronavirus outbreak, to the horrific tornado in Nashville, it's just been a "bad news" kind of a week.
Consider this feel-good story to be your palate cleanser heading into the weekend!
Debra McKenna was a bright-eyed 16-year-old, in love with her high school sweetheart back in 1973. As a sign of his love, Shawn McKenna gave her his gold class ring. Just a month later, she took off the ring to wash her hands, and next thing she knew, it was gone. But don't worry, soon after Shawn gave Debra another ring... An engagement ring! They later got married and raised three kids together. They lived a good life, until Shawn died of cancer in 2017. Then, on Valentine’s Day this year, her high school alumni association called. The ring she had lost in Maine 47 years ago had turned up in Finland of all places!
