This is way cooler than taking the bus!

  • When the school bus never showed to take his kids to elementary and middle school on October 1st, Columbus, Ohio dad Sean Rogers Jr., got resourceful.
  • Rogers borrowed a black Hummer limousine from his dad's limo service, asked area parents on Facebook if their kids needed rides to school, and took 25 kids to school that next Monday.
  • He used his dad's limo to take 42 kids to school the very next day.
  • Rogers told WSYX-TV "Everybody always wants to say let's help the community let's stop this violence that type of stuff, but I feel like a big step of stopping the violence is getting kids to school instead of letting them skip school and go out and get into trouble."
  • 15% to 20% of the school district's bus drivers called out nearly every day during the first week of October. Rogers said he'll continue to drive local kids to school until something changes.
