Well, that didn’t take long … A new bride couldn't even wait for the wedding to be over before deciding she wanted a divorce, and her story has gone viral.
The woman wrote to Slate's "Dear Prudence" advice column that she had only one rule going into the wedding -- that her husband not shove wedding cake into her face, which has long been a time-honored tradition. She made it very clear to him that, because she is claustrophobic, she didn't want him to do it, but when the opportunity presented itself, he grabbed her head and shoved her face into the cake.
The next day she told him they were done and she wanted a divorce. The advice columnist called the husband's actions a "red flag" and said she should go forward with the divorce, but her family and most readers of the column think it was just a dumb mistake and that she is overreacting.
Is the columnist right? Was divorced the right option. Or, was this a mountain out a molehill type of reaction?
