Women Share Unspoken Things They Look For In A Partner

What do women want in a partner? It all depends on the woman you’re asking, of course. Some ladies are looking for a guy they can watch sports with every weekend, while others prefer a partner who loves the library as much as they do. Sometimes we don’t even know what we want, or we do, but we feel shallow for revealing what we’re really attracted to.

A Redditor turned to the “Ask Women” section to pose the question “What do you look for in a partner, but never admit?” And luckily, women let their hangups go to get honest with their responses:

  • “Openness and respect for other cultures and countries.”
  • “Muscles, especially arms and shoulders. I’m usually honest to myself but don’t like seeming shallow about it”
  • “Emotional intelligence. Not codependent. Won't rely on me as his therapist.”
  • “Big hands”
  • “I like when a guy can tell me how he’s feeling without being ashamed or scared he’ll be judged. Oh, and also, I’m afraid of taller men, so I prefer guys under 6 foot.”
  • “Doesn't have to want them, but being good with kids and pets is a major turn on.”
  • “I like partners that will baby me if I’m sad/anxious. Idk if it’s the daddy issues or what lol, but I seem to greatly want extreme comfort when I’m feeling vulnerable.”
  • “Financial stability”
  • “I confess I love a foreign accent. I’m not proud of this because it shouldn’t matter.”
  • “That they aren't into cars or golf. At all.”
  • “Gotta be an oddball, but I never want to admit I’m going for the guy that’s a bit of a weirdo lol.”
  • “A guy who would try ANY new physical activity, even yoga or Zumba without questioning his masculinity”
  • “Thick beard”
  • “Minimal emotional baggage”
  • “Age. I fell for a guy that was a year younger than me I don’t wanna be called a cougar”
