It was ladies night at this year’s ACM Awards with Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce and Lainey Wilson winning big.
The annual show, held Monday night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and streamed live on Amazon Prime Video, was hosted by Dolly Parton and Gabby Barrett, with Jimmie Allen representing the gentlemen.
Miranda Lambert won the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy. On location in London where she's touring, she accepted the award through video and dedicated it to her fellow female country artists. She also won the Music Video award for her work with Elle King on "Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)."
The other big winners of the night were Carly Pearce, who won Female Artist and Music Event with Ashley McBryde for “Never Wanted to Be That Girl,” and rising star Lainey Wilson, who took home both the New Female Artist and Song of the Year for “Things a Man Oughta Know.”
And it looks like it might become a tradition for Brothers Osborne to close out the ACMs. Back for a second year, they invited up-and-coming artist Brittney Spencer to join them for a cover of Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.”
