Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, surprised everyone with a joyous announcement on Christmas Day.
The “Thank God” couple celebrated their last holiday season as a family of four, they said as they revealed Katelyn Brown is pregnant with Baby No. 3. The proud parents made their announcement with daughters Kinglsey Rose, who turned 4 in October, and Kodi Jane, who will turn 2 on Saturday (December 30).
The Browns are one of several growing families in 2024.
Country fans will also get to meet Gabby Barrett’s third child in February 2024. The “Growin’ Up Raising You” artist and her husband, Cade Foehner, announced earlier this year that Baby No. 3 is on the way. The American Idol alums are already parents to daughter Baylah May Foehner, who will turn 3 in January, and son Augustine Boone Foehner, who turned 1 in October.
Jon Pardi and his wife, Summer Pardi, announced Baby No. 2 is on the way, less than one year after welcoming their firstborn child, daughter Presley Fawn Pardi. Summer shared a reel on Instagram as the family walked through the framework of their new home, and included glimpses of Presley holding the sonogram images. Summer wrote in her caption: “Good thing we have that extra guest room 😉 we can’t wait to fill this home with all of the love from our little family of four 🤍.”
Jessie James Decker and husband Eric Decker revealed they’re expecting Baby No. 4. The “I’m Gonna Love You” singer confirmed during an appearance on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna that she and her former NFL star husband are expecting a baby boy. Baby No. 4 will join Vivianne, Eric Jr. and Forrest. The kids started fourth grade, second grade and Kindergarten, respectively, Jessie James Decker shared when she posted back-to-school photos earlier this year.
Some artists, however, are becoming first-time parents.
Adam Doleac and his wife, MacKinnon, announced with PEOPLE earlier this month they’re expecting Baby No. 1, just after celebrating their first wedding anniversary. The “Biggest Fan” singer said at the time that he and MacKinnon have “talked about this day since the very first night we met.” Baby Doleac is due in March 2024.
Alex Georgia, a solo artist also known for his work in the former duo Kat & Alex, announced in September that he’s looking ahead to “a new beginning,” as he shared a video of the gender reveal with a surprise proposal for his now-fiancée. Georgia and his fiancée are expecting a baby boy.
MacKenzie Porter and her husband, musician and actor Jake Etheridge, also revealed they’re expecting Baby No. 1. Porter — known for songs like “Pickup,” “These Days,” her 2020 collaboration with Dustin Lynch, “Thinking ‘Bout You,” and more — deemed it “our sweetest moment yet,” as she announced her pregnancy last month. Parker McCollum and his wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, are also set to become first-time parents this year. Country music legend Alan Jackson will become a grandfather again. His eldest daughter, podcast host Mattie Jackson Smith, announced in February that Baby No. 1 is due in June.
