🚨 Massive Sinkhole Devours Soccer Field! ⚽️🕳️

Early Wednesday, a gigantic sinkhole opened up, taking a huge chunk of a soccer field in southern Illinois with it! 😱 Luckily, the field was empty, so there were no injuries. 🙏

Officials estimate the sinkhole to be around 100 feet wide and 30-50 feet deep. That’s like stacking 10 giraffes! 🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒🦒

The soccer complex, established in 2019, sits atop an old limestone mine, which might explain the sudden collapse. 🏗️➡️🕳️
