Carrie Underwood offered a behind-the-scenes look at her rehearsals and headlining performance at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025.

Underwood said “it was like no other place on the planet,” as she shared the video by photographer and videographer Jeff Johnson on Instagram on Thursday (January 2). The clip, set to Underwood’s “Pink Champagne” from her Denim & Rhinestones album, shows the country star arriving on site and prepping for her performance, which included a few wardrobe changes. Underwood could sense the “excitement” from the packed crowd before taking the stage in New York City’s Times Square.

Underwood performed “Church Bells,” “Pink Champagne” and “Before He Cheats” during the iconic New Year’s Eve special, donning shimmering wardrobe pieces for each song. The award-winning country star includes those anthems and many more in the set list of her Las Vegas residency. CARRIE UNDERWOOD: REFLECTION will be available to stream on Hulu at the end of this month, she confirmed when she shared the trailer on New Year’s Day. Underwood will perform the final shows of her residency this spring. She'll also make her debut as a judge on American Idol two decades after winning the show.
