He Was Just Playing Disc Golf⊠Then a Shark Fell from the Sky đŠâł
Jonathan Marlowe was just out for a casual round of disc golf with friends in Myrtle Beach when things got weird. Like, âtiny hammerhead shark falling from the skyâ weird.
It happened on Hole 11 at Splinter City Disc Golf Course. Jonathan looked up and saw an osprey flying overheadâcool, but not unusual. Then two crows swooped in and started chasing it. Bird drama!
The three birds tangled in a nearby tree, and suddenlyâboomâsomething dropped from the sky. Jonathan figured it was a fish. Technically, he was right⊠but it was a hammerhead shark. đł
Apparently, ospreys are expert fishers and sometimes go after wild catches like this. But crows? Theyâre known to gang up and harass bigger birds to protect their turf. In this case, the crows wonâand the shark lost.
Disc golf courses are often in nature-y spots, so wildlife sightings arenât rare. But a shark falling from the sky? Thatâs next-level. Jonathan and his friends were left standing there like, âDid that really just happen?â
