This NHL mascot's fishing trip went VERY wrong! What happened next? 😱

When Your Fishing Trip Becomes a Wildlife Documentary! 🎣🐻

Okay, so picture this: You're the Seattle Kraken, you're on your annual team bonding trip to Alaska, everyone's having a great time fly fishing... and then a GRIZZLY BEAR decides your mascot looks like a snack! 😱

That's exactly what happened to poor Buoy the sea troll (yes, that's really the Kraken's mascot name). The team was out at Katmai National Park doing some peaceful fly fishing when things got a little too real, a little too fast.

The whole thing was caught on video and honestly? It's both terrifying and hilarious at the same time! 📹 You can see everyone just chilling in the water when suddenly there's this "OH NO" moment as a brown bear comes charging straight at Buoy. Water goes EVERYWHERE as our poor mascot tries to get out of dodge! 💦 -- Watch the video below!

Forward John Hayden had the best take on the whole situation: "I want to blame it on Buoy. They were pretty interested in his whole look." 😂 I mean, fair point John! When you're dressed as a mythical sea creature, you're probably going to stand out to the local wildlife!

The good news? Everyone made it out totally fine and with an absolutely epic story to tell! The bear veered away at the last second, probably thinking "Wait, what even IS that thing?" 🤔
