David Rush from Idaho is no stranger to bizarre feats â heâs broken over 250 world records, and his latest? Taking 96 wet sponges to the face in just 60 seconds. Yep, you read that right.
Why sponges? Why the face? Honestly, I don't know. The whole thing was part of his mission to promote STEM education, and while I admire the cause, I'm mostly here for the splashy chaos.
Rush had two helpers chucking sponges at him like their lives depended on it, and somehow, he kept his cool (and his balance) through the whole minute. The previous record was 76, so yeah â he crushed it.
