Norbert the Pig Just Skated Into the Record Books!
Move over Tony Hawk—there’s a new four-legged shredder in town, and his name is Tony Pork. Okay, his real name is Norbert, but this 175-pound pig from Buffalo Grove, Illinois, just made history by skateboarding his way into the Guinness World Records!
Yep, you read that right. Norbert broke the record for the fastest 10 meters pushed on a skateboard by a pig. He zoomed across the pavement in just 11.32 seconds, and honestly? He looked cooler doing it than most of us ever will. Watch him in action below.
His owner, Vincent Baran, says it all started with a childhood skateboard and a handful of unsalted peanuts. “I laid the board down, gave him some treats, and within 15 minutes, he was standing on it,” Vincent said. A few sessions later, Norbert was cruising down the street like a total natural.
Now, Norbert’s got fans, a nickname that honors skate legend Tony Hawk, and a world record to his name. Not bad for a pig who just wanted snacks and a little fresh air.
