Shaboozey Floats Into a Couple’s Wedding Photo
Wedding photos usually come with a detailed plan. This one came with Shaboozey floating down the river.
A bride and groom were preparing for their ceremony at Brown’s Owens River Campground near Mammoth Lakes, California, on August 8. Before the ceremony started, a large group of people approached on inner tubes. Shaboozey was among them.
The wedding planner paused the ceremony so the group could pass. When Shaboozey reached the couple, she asked if he would take a photo with them.
He agreed, but he had one condition: He was staying on the float.
The couple stood along the riverbank while Shaboozey raised his arms and posed from the water. His friends joined in, cheering and waving as they floated behind him. The crowd got even louder when the bride and groom kissed.
After the group moved down the river, the couple returned to the original plan and got married.
Shaboozey later congratulated them in a comment on the wedding planner’s video. His group was taking part in The Woolly Run, an outdoor trip that included several days of camping near the river.
The couple got their ceremony, their photos and one guest appearance nobody had scheduled.
