Will Ferrell had a hilarious cameo in the movie Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, which is celebrating its 20-year anniversary. Unfortunately, the scene got cut from the film.
In an interview, director David Mirkin said they had problems with test audiences that prevented the scene from surviving.
Apparently, Will killed it and had audiences laughing hysterically. The scene happens as Romy is caught in a lie about inventing Post-It notes. The audience felt so bad for her, the scene with Ferrell prolonged the agony to a point where they couldn't recover.
