Did Steve Harvey really send a terse memo to his staff at the beginning of this season?
According to Robert Feder, Harvey sent a memo to his staff telling them, "Do not approach me ... Do not wait in any hallway to talk to me."
Here is an excerpt from the memo:
Do not open my dressing room door. IF YOU OPEN MY DOOR, EXPECT TO BE REMOVED.
My security team will stop everyone from standing at my door who have the intent to see or speak to me.
I want all the ambushing to stop now. That includes TV staff.
You must schedule an appointment.
After this current season, Harvey is moving his show from Chicago to Los Angeles and renaming it. Most, if not all, of the staff will lose their jobs with the move. That is probably why the memo leaked.
