This could be the sign of good things to come. According to a large, recent study by the U.S. Center for Disease Control, there has been no rise in the number of children being diagnosed on the autism spectrum.
This comes after 20 years of steady increases in diagnoses.
Unfortunately, the causes of autism, which alters communication abilities and social skills, are still unknown.
