CREATOR OF "L.A. LAW" & "NYPD BLUE" PASSES

Mayor De Blasio And NYPD Chief Bratton Discuss Plan To Curb Recent Uptick In Violent Crime

Steven Bochco, writer and producer of such television hits as "L.A. Law", "NYPD Blue" and "Doogie Howser, M.D.", died Sunday (April 1) at the age of 74.

Bochco had been battling cancer for a few years.

Over three decades of producing ground-breaking television, Bochco was seen as a pioneer for the television we see today.
