I can see why they keep making Avengers movies. 3 of the top 10 grossing movies all-time worldwide are part of the series.
The latest installment is "Avengers: Endgame". The movie has already grossed $2.79 billion in 3 months since its release.
The official trailer has been viewed 124,706,000 times on YouTube alone.
When I listened to John Grisham's podcast "Book Tour", he said he can't get anyone in Hollywood to turn one of his books into a film these days. He mentioned that he has 4 manuscripts on hold, but none get produced. Grisham lamented that if the script isn't superheros or animation, the movie isn't getting produced.
Looking at the list of Top 25 highest grossing films worldwide all-time, I can understand why. The list is loaded with Avengers, Black Panther, Iron Man, Frozen, Minions and Incredibles 2.
Grisham books like "The Firm", "Time To Kill" and "Runaway Jury" made great films. Unfortunately, he hasn't had a book turned into a film since 2003.
