August 2 was National Ice Cream Sandwich day ... and I missed it.
I'm a big fan of ice cream in general. I could finish a whole box of ice cream sandwiches in one sitting. Mmm.
Did you know other countries have their own versions of the treat? Iran serves their version dipped in pistachios.
In Vietnam, the dessert consists of ice cream between two smashed pieces of bread and dipped in peanuts. I think they took the idea of "sandwich" a little too literally.
