On Sunday,Oprah Winfrey previewed her exclusive interview with Meghan MarkleandPrince Harry.
Harry speaks in two short clips about his mother,Princess Diana. He told Oprah that he quit the Royal Family rather than face the crushing exploitation that killed Di (quote) “My biggest concern was history repeating itself.”
Oprah secured the first joint interview with Harry and Meghan since their engagement four years ago. Growing interest in the special convinced CBS to expand the show from 90-minutes to two-hours.
According to Royal watchers,Queen Elizabethstripped Harry of his honorary military titles because he never asked her permission to be interviewed by Oprah.Prince Williamhas no idea what Harry told Oprah. The brothers have not spoken for months.
Oprah and the formal Royals are neighbors. She conducted the interview two weeks ago at their mansion near Santa Barbara, California. Meghan wore a $4,700Giorgio Armanigown. The primetime special will air on CBS this Sunday, March 7th. (Harper’s Bazaar)
