Houseguests can tell a lot about you by how you keep your home. Hospitality and housekeeping experts say avoid these five mistakes to avoid grossing out your guests.
- Having hair everywhere. Check your sinks and tubs for hair and don't forget to sweep up pet hair.
- Not having a hand towel in sight. One expert said that you and your guest don't want to have to use your bath towel if that's the only option.
- Overflowing trash. Take it out before guests arrive.
- Having worn out guest pillows. Experts recommend replacing those busted pillows with machine washable ones.
- Dirty chairs. Wipe them down so guests won't sit on or against a sticky chair.
