Storytime with Jelly Roll

Jelly Roll is a humble superstar. He makes fun of himself just as much as he shows the rockstar life he finds himself leading these days - and he's posted a clip where both of these things dovetail into one video. 

He intros the clip, "If you want to see me bust my ass… keep watching this video. Storytime with Uncle Roll." He explains that between a recent set of shows, he had to take a quick flight away from the tour bus, making for a cool moment where the bus pulled up on the landing platform right next to the private jet.

"I’m going to videotape myself walking straight from the bus to the plane; this is gonna be the coolest thing ever." The first clip shows him descending the bus stairs and climbing the jet stairs - no problem. But when it came time to reverse the trip down the jet's stairs and onto the bus, things went awry. Halfway down the stairs, the big man went down hard. The camera goes down with him, and he notes on his on-screen caption that he gets very dramatic super quickly. You hear one of his crew members ask if he is okay, to which he replies, "Yeah, I think I broke something." After a second, you see the pilot standing over Jelly Roll, grabbing his phone, which is still recorded… and boom, a short flash of Jelly Roll laid out on the pavement. After a few groans, you hear him say again how bad it hurt. "Ankle – arm- shoulder, everything you can hurt in that little scenario."

Fortunately JR seems to be totally fine, making for a scary/funny and slightly painful social media post. See the video here.
