The Super Bowl is on Sunday, and if you’re having a party, make sure you serve “good luck” foods and not “bad luck” foods if you want your team to win. Yep, it seems big game superstitions extend to what’s on the table. A survey found that 44% of respondents said they have food superstitions when it comes to a big game, and 85% of those say they only eat and serve certain foods on game day because of those superstitions. So, what are these “good luck” foods?

The study, commissioned by brioche brand St Pierre and conducted by OnePoll,

According to the survey, the top foods that bring positive energy are:

  1. Pizza
  2. Hot dogs
  3. Burgers

Bad luck foods are:

  1. Deviled eggs
  2. Garlic bread
  3. Salsa and queso dip
