  • Memorial Day weekend is upon us.
  • If you are heading out in your car for a trip, AAA has data to tell us when traffic is expected to be at its best and worst.
  • AAA says if you are leaving on Thursday and Friday, drivers should get on the road before 11 a.m. or after 7 p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. Friday.
  • Saturday travelers should avoid driving between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to beat the traffic.
  • On Sunday, AAA suggests leaving before 1 p.m.
  • Many people will be trying to get back home on Memorial Day Monday. AAA expects traffic to be less after 7 p.m.
  • The worst times to be on the roads are Thursday between noon and 6 p.m., Friday between noon and 7 p.m., Saturday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Sunday between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Monday between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
