I know how much you love a glass of white wine on a beautiful spring day, especially after you've been juggling getting the kids to where they need to be and maybe a tough day at work. It's such a nice way to unwind, right?
Well, I came across something interesting that I thought you might want to know. While we've heard about the health benefits of wine, a new study from Brown University has found a potential risk. It turns out that people who drink only white wine, and not red, have a 22% higher chance of developing skin cancer.
The reasons aren't entirely clear yet, but one theory is that folks tend to enjoy their white wine outdoors, which means more exposure to the sun. So, next time you're thinking about a glass of wine, maybe consider trying a good red instead. It might be a safer choice!
