Brad Paisley paused his performance to help concertgoers with their gender reveal during a recent show.
The “Mud On The Tires” country star noticed a homemade sign in the crowd that read: “Brad, will you reveal the gender of our baby?” The audience cheered and applauded as Paisley held up the sign. He took the envelope and stepped up to the microphone. “We got a 50-50 shot. We’re gonna place bets right now.”
The parents-to-be joined Paisley on stage. They told the singer-songwriter that a friend sealed the results in an envelope earlier that day, before heading to the concert. Paisley said there’s “a 50-50 shot that it’s ‘Little Brad,’ or ‘Little Paisley.’” Paisley shared a clip of that moment on Instagram on Sunday (July 20). “They’re having a boy!” Paisley explained after opening the envelope. The couple celebrated and embraced on stage, and the audience cheered for the impromptu gender reveal moment. Paisley kicked off his headlining “Truck Still Works World Tour” in spring. Shows include special guest Dylan Scott, plus Walker Hayes, Avery Anna, Alexandra Kay and Mae Estes on select dates, per a previous announcement. Paisley will wrap up his U.S. shows in August, and will resume the run of shows with performances in Canada later this year.
