A seven-year-old boy started a business in his neighborhood. He offered people a simple service –for $5 a week he would roll your garbage cans to the curb before trash day and bring them back afterward. His big idea – while helping his neighbors – was to earn enough money to purchase a Lamborghini sports car.
Even though Lamborghinis sell for over $100,000, his business started small. He passed out flyers and convinced a number of neighbors to sign up. Those neighbors were impressed by his determination and hustle.
One neighbor reached out to a local car dealer who sells Lamborghinis with a fun request. Could the car dealer bring one of the sports cars over to the boy to inspire him to continue with his business? The car dealer didn't bring just one sportscar. He brought many.
Within days, more than 10 supercars rolled into the neighborhood to surprise him, including Lamborghinis, a Porsche, a Maserati, and an Aston Martin.
“This is the best day of my life,” the young entrepreneur said. “This feels like a dream.”
The event ended up being a reminder that big dreams often start small – and that communities thrive when friends and neighbors support and encourage those dreams at every age.
