Have you heard of the Gray Divorce?

We hear it all the time from marriage skeptics: half of all marriages end in divorce. But that's actually not true at all. According to a new USA Today report, divorce rates in the U.S. have actually been declining since the 1980s, not rising. In fact, today’s marriages are often stronger because people are waiting longer to tie the knot, which means they’re more financially stable and emotionally mature when they do. But there is a bit of a twist. Another contributing factor of the declining divorce rate is that fewer Americans are getting married. The only area where divorce is actually rising is among couples over the age of 45, especially women over 65. This is referred to as a "gray divorce."
