If you’ve ever wished you could grab a coffee at Central Perk with your own crew, your chance is almost here. A real-life version of the iconic hangout from Friends is opening in New York City’s Times Square on December 5.

This isn’t a carbon copy of the sitcom set. The design is updated with big glass windows and modern touches, but it’s packed with nostalgic details fans will love. You’ll even see artwork by pop artist Burton Morris, whose colorful pieces appeared in more than 130 episodes of the show.

The creative team behind the first Central Perk in Boston is bringing this one to life, and yes, the menu is just as fun as you’d hope.

What’s on the Menu?

Here’s a taste of what you’ll find:

  • The One with NYC Matcha
  • A layered iced matcha latte with oat milk, strawberry purée, and cream cheese cold foam.
  • NY Relaxi Taxi Tall Iced Cooler
  • Half lemonade, half iced green tea, lavender syrup, and sparkling water—a nod to Rachel and Phoebe’s “massage cab” idea.
  • The Tribbiani
  • Created by Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio, this hero sandwich is loaded with prosciutto, soppressata, capicola, provolone, lettuce, giardiniera, olive oil, and vinegar. Joey would approve.

Other bites include Joey’s Meatball SandwichRachel’s Green “Side” SaladWeekend at Caesars Salad, and Mama’s Little Bakery Cheesecake.

“For me, food has always been about bringing people together, and that’s exactly what Central Perk represents,” says Colicchio.
