Take a Walk Through the Most Famous Home in Space

If you’ve ever daydreamed about floating through the International Space Station, NASA just made your week. They released a brand‑new high‑definition video tour, and it gives you a close look at every nook, cranny, cable, and gadget that keeps astronauts alive 250 miles above Earth.

Bigger Than a House, But Feels Like a Closet

On paper, the ISS is larger than a six‑bedroom home. In reality, it feels more like a very organized storage unit that happens to orbit the planet. The video shows tight hallways, walls covered in equipment, and astronauts weaving through it all like it’s totally normal.

It’s not messy. It’s more like controlled chaos. Everything has a purpose, even if it looks like it’s hanging on by a Velcro strip.

A Home With History

The ISS has been hosting humans for more than 25 years. That’s a long time for any home, let alone one that circles Earth every 90 minutes. The tour feels a little nostalgic, especially knowing the station is scheduled to retire in 2031. When that time comes, it will make a fiery return into the atmosphere.

Why This Tour Hits Different

We’ve seen photos before, but this video feels more personal. You get a sense of how astronauts actually live: where they sleep, how they work, and how they move around without gravity helping them out. It’s the closest most of us will ever get to floating through space.
