After both Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren's social media pages went silent, we suspected they may be home with a new baby and we were right. But more importantly, congratulations go out to the Akins family on their precious baby boy!
According to a post shared on both TR and Lauren's Instagram pages, Brave Elijah Akins arrived last week, making him two weeks early. He weighed nearly 10 pounds, so mad respect for Lauren who is grateful he didn't have another two weeks to bake. Yikes!
Lauren said that Thomas helped deliver their new little one and was the first to announce to the room, "It's a boy."
