If you’ve ever been to a concert, you know things can get a little rowdy. But Riley Green’s show in Melbourne took “rowdy” to a whole new level when someone in the crowd launched a phone straight at him. Yes, an actual phone.

Video from the show captured the phone smacking him right across the jaw, neck, and ear. It wasn’t a light tap either. Riley immediately reached for his ear, and you could see the blood starting to show.

Most artists would have stopped the show, walked offstage, or at least taken a breather. Not Riley.

He Kept Going… and Even Cracked Jokes

Instead of calling it quits, he powered through the set. He even joked with the crowd about the whole thing, which honestly says a lot about his ability to roll with chaos.

The Crowd Was Not Having It

Security quickly removed the person who threw the phone. But the audience wasn’t done. Reports say people started tossing bottles at the phone-thrower as he was being escorted out. It was a whole scene.

Riley’s Post-Show Update

Later on social media, Riley shared a photo of his injured ear and joked, “Gettin my ear pierced,” adding the hashtag “#justtextmenexttime.”
