If you’ve ever wished your home smelled like a bakery without actually baking anything, Bath & Body Works just made your dream a reality. Their new spring “Rooted” collection includes a Homemade Sourdough candle, and yes, it smells exactly like warm bread, olive oil, and whipped butter.
It’s giving cozy kitchen energy. It’s giving Sunday morning. It’s giving “I swear I bake.”
The Homemade Sourdough candle is the star of the new collection, but it’s not the only foodie scent making waves.
The Rooted line leans into calm, cozy rituals.
- Morning Matcha, a fresh, earthy pick
- Carrot & Nectarine, which sounds like spring in a jar
- Off the Vine, the tomato scent fans begged to bring back
If you remember their wild holiday drop last year, you know this isn’t their first time playing with food-inspired scents. They released Pizza & Ranch and Chips & Salsa candles in December, which had customers hilariously divided. Some loved the novelty. Others said absolutely not.
Candles and body care items from the Rooted collection are already on shelves. Soaps and home decor arrive next week, which means your kitchen could soon smell like a farmers market and a bakery at the same time.
