If you thought Easter treats were getting a little over the top, Costco just said “hold my chocolate.” The retailer is selling a 10‑pound Easter bunny, and it’s so solid you need actual tools to get into it.
Meet Pete, the Bunny Built Like a Brick
This giant chocolate rabbit is named Pete, which somehow makes him even more lovable. He weighs in at a full 10 pounds and costs $112.97. Think of him as the Easter version of a piñata, but made entirely of chocolate and significantly harder to crack.
Costco recommends using a mallet, hammer or even a rolling pin to break Pete open. If that still doesn’t do the trick, they suggest a hot knife to slice through the chocolate. This is not your average hollow bunny from childhood. Pete is a commitment.
Where to Find Him
Pete is available at Costco for a limited time, and like most seasonal items, once he’s gone, he’s gone. If you’re thinking about bringing him home, don’t wait too long.
