If mac and cheese is your comfort food love language, Kraft has something new coming that might make your grocery cart very happy. The brand is introducing Kraft Mac & Cheese PowerMac, and it’s basically the classic blue box with a little gym membership.
So What Is PowerMac?
PowerMac is Kraft’s new upgraded version of its iconic mac and cheese. The big change is in the nutrition. It has 17 grams of protein, which is double what the original offers, and 6 grams of fiber. For anyone trying to eat a little better without giving up the foods they love, this feels like a win.
And yes, it still has the same creamy, cheesy flavor. No artificial flavors, dyes, or preservatives either.
Two Flavors to Choose From
PowerMac comes in Original and White Cheddar. So whether you’re loyal to the classic or you like things a little fancier, you’ve got options.
Why Kraft Made It
Kraft Heinz CEO Steve Cahillane says the goal is to give people more functional benefits in foods they already enjoy. In other words, they want to make comfort food that fits into real life, real budgets, and real nutrition goals.
When You Can Buy It
PowerMac hits shelves nationwide in April, but depending on where you live, you might spot it earlier. So keep an eye on that pasta aisle.
