If you’ve ever dreamed of floating at the edge of space, Virgin Galactic is officially taking reservations again. The company reopened bookings for its space tourism flights, and the new price tag is a staggering $750 thousand per seat.
🚀 What You Get for $750K
The flight lasts about 90 minutes. Passengers climb roughly 50 miles above Earth, which is just shy of the official boundary of space. You get a few minutes of weightlessness, a killer view, and a story you can tell for the rest of your life.
🌌 Why the Price Jumped
Virgin Galactic has had a rough road getting here. Years of delays, technical issues, and even a tragic crash slowed everything down. Now the company is betting big on its next‑generation SpaceShip, which is expected to start flying later this year.
With competitors like Blue Origin hitting pause on their own space tourism trips, Virgin Galactic sees an opening. Even if demand is limited, they’re pushing forward.
💼 Is Anyone Actually Buying?
Surprisingly, yes. There’s always a small group of people who want to be first, even if the price is wild. And Virgin Galactic is counting on that excitement to keep the program alive.
