Most teens dream of pulling up to prom in a limo or maybe a decked‑out SUV. But a group of Kansas high school seniors decided to go in a completely different direction.
The group spotted the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile parked in Topeka and tossed around the idea of asking for a ride. You know how those conversations go. Someone says it as a joke, everyone laughs, and then one brave soul says, “Wait… what if we actually try?”
So they did.
They asked the Oscar Mayer team if they’d be willing to drop them off at prom the next day. The crew checked their schedule and said yes. No fee. No fuss. Just a giant hot dog on wheels ready to chauffeur a bunch of seniors to the biggest night of their year.
While other students stepped out of sleek black limos, this group stepped out of a 27‑foot hot dog. One student joked that they didn’t just arrive — they rolled in with flavor.
And honestly, they might be right. It’s hard to top a prom entrance that doubles as a national icon and a snack mascot.
