If your bathroom cabinet has turned into a museum of half‑used prescriptions, this weekend is the perfect time to clean it out. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is happening this Saturday, April 25, and Nebraska and Iowa have plenty of places to drop off old or expired medications.

Keeping unused prescriptions around can lead to accidental use, misuse, or just clutter you don’t need. Take Back Day gives you a safe, anonymous way to get rid of them without tossing them in the trash or flushing them.

Locations will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are at least 10 locations for drop off in Nebraska and Iowa.
