McDonald’s is celebrating the new “Stranger Things: Tales From ’85,” by launching a special Happy Meal with collectible toys and a game you can unlock on your phone.
This isn’t your average toy‑and‑nuggets situation. McDonald’s created a full “Stranger Things” experience that taps into the show’s sense of adventure. The idea is to recruit a new monster‑fighting crew, and yes, that includes you and your kids.
Inside the box, you’ll find:
- One of twelve collectible character toys
- An activity book
- A QR code that unlocks an interactive game
Starting May 5, McDonald’s will roll out two new character toys each week. So if you’re a collector or you have a kid who loves the show, this might turn into a weekly drive‑thru tradition.
The timing is perfect since “Tales From ’85” just dropped on Netflix.
