Catherine Zeta-Jones unintentionally sent Sean Connery's fans into a panic on Tuesday when she paid tribute to him on Instagram. The actress shared a photo of the two from their 1999 film Entrapment and captioned it, "Thinking of this amazing man today, such wonderful memories and friendship." Instagram users immediately began speculating that the 87-year-old actor had passed away. "Did something happen?!" one asked. Zeta-Jones later responded that she was "just thinking of" Connery. The Daily Mail notes that Connery hasn't been seen in public since September 2017, when he and Micheline Roquebrune, his 88-year-old wife of 42 years, were in New York City. He uses a cane now to support himself and appears to rely on a caregiver.
