Is it time for a sleep divorce?

According to a new survey, sleeping apart may be the key to saving your relationship. The survey found that 46 percent of respondents said they wanted a sleep breakup from their partner and 20 percent said their partner was the biggest cause of interrupting their sleep. Top complaints? 50 percent said a snoring significant other messed with their sleep, 37 percent said it was too hot lying next to someone and 32 percent complained about fighting for covers. 57 percent of people admitted it was so bad that they’ve gone to the couch or another room in the middle of the night. But it seems that sleeping separately isn’t as outrageous a concept as it once was. 12 percent of survey participants said they are already sleeping separately and 30 percent of couples say they have discussed the idea. Only 31 percent of those surveyed said a successful relationship requires sleeping together, and 25 percent think that sleeping separately can even improve a relationship. (Yahoo)
