Tim McGraw has premiered a new song called “Gravity,” which appears in National Geographic Documentary Films’ new film Free Solo. According to Rolling Stone, the inspirational track is an ode to free-solo rock climber Alex Honnold and his an ascent of the El Capitan cliff face in Yosemite National Park without the aid of a rope--a never-before-accomplished feat. The song finds McGraw shrugging off the unknown, singing “Gravity is just a fragile thing” over strings and other lush instrumentation. Free Solo is in select theaters now.
