Next summer is already looking like a scorcher as country hottie Thomas Rhett has just announced his 2019 Very Hot Summer tour. The North American trek kicks off May 17 in Spokane, Washington, and will make nearly 40 stops in such major markets as Detroit, Indianapolis, Houston, Dallas, Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, and New York before wrapping things up on October 12 with a homecoming performance in Nashville. Rhett's bringing along his dad, hit songwriter Rhett Akins, on the tour, as well as openers Dustin Lynch and Russell Dickerson. “I’m glad we have the winter to plan and come up with some crazy stuff for next year because I can’t think of a better way to spend the summer than out on the road with my fans,” Rhett said about the tour in a statement. Tickets go on sale November 30.
