Netflix users panicked on Monday when they noticed that Friends would only be available on the streaming service until January 1st. Many took to Twitter to voice their displeasure. "The only reason I have an account with Netflix is to rewatch Friends. Why @netflix are you hurting us?" one tweeted. Netflix has since assured fans that it will keep the show in its rotation. "The Holiday Armadillo has granted your wish: Friends will still be there for you in the US throughout 2019," it tweeted. Fans were previously warned that Friends could leave Netflix because WarnerMedia--which owns the show--is gearing up to launch its own streaming service in 2019.
