RAMS BRING ONE MORE TEAM MEMBER ALONG TO ATLANTA
The Los Angeles Rams are in Atlanta preparing for the Super Bowl, but before they got on their flight to travel across the country for the big game, they made sure that one of their special, non-roster teammates would be joining them on Sunday.
A team facilities employee named Alfonso was called into the general manager's office, which made him feel extremely nervous. But when he showed up, he was greeted by wide receiver Brandin Cooks who immediately told him there was nothing to be worried about.
Cooks then told him that the team appreciates all the work he does for them in keeping their facility in "tip-top shape" and that his efforts have not gone unnoticed.
So to thank him, they were sending him and his son to Atlanta to watch the big game in person.
Alfonso was stunned and nearly brought to tears. "This is a dream come true" he said. Alfonso said he has wanted to go to the Super Bowl ever since he was a kid. ( KCBS-TV )
