Dancing With the Stars is replacing longtime judge Len Goodman with fan-favorite dance pro, Derek Hough. "The show has been and will always be incredibly special to me," Hough said Tuesday in a statement to Good Morning America. "Coming back feels like coming home and I couldn’t be more excited to be back in the ballroom." He last appeared on DWTS in 2016 after performing on the show for nine years and 17 seasons, winning six mirrorball trophies -- the most in DWTS history. His sister, Julianne, has likewise served as both a dance pro and a judge on the show. Last week, new DWTS host Tyra Banks had hinted that Goodman might not be able to return this season thanks to the coronavirus crisis. "We're trying to figure out how to incorporate Len Goodman because he is in England and there's all these travel restrictions because of COVID-19," she told ET. Hough will join returning judges Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli when the 29th season of Dancing With the Stars premieres on Monday, September 14 on ABC.
