First responders discover puppy in wildfires!

While searching through the wreckage left behind by the wildfires in California, first responders found something surprising - a puppy! A team in Berry Creek was checking the ashes on a burned property when they made the “welcome discovery.”

According to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, the adorable pup had suffered minor burns and was taken to a local vet to be checked out. Rescuers even gave the “sweet dog” a fitting nickname: “Trooper.”

It turns out, the owner of the property has several dogs and wasn’t able to locate them all before they needed to evacuate. This little puppy brought big smiles to the rescuers faces at a time when they really needed it.
